French ingenuity serving the rural world

With more than 35 years of experience and a worldwide presence among farmers, SCREB has established itself as a leading French reference in kit- building construction. Combining ingenuity, proximity, and strength, the company remains true to its mission: simplifying the lives of those who build for the agricultural world.

A simple idea that became a revolution

Founded in 1990 by Mr Moreaux, SCREB transformed the agricultural construction sector at a time when farms were seeking to modernise their infrastructure while keeping costs under control.
His idea—both simple and bold—was to offer agricultural sheds in kit form: robust, modular, and easy to assemble, enabling every farmer to erect their own structure without relying on traditional construction.
The concept was an immediate success. Within a few years, the small company became the number one French manufacturer of metal kit buildings, providing a practical, economical, and durable solution for thousands of farmers.

A family story driven by vision

In 1998, the company was taken over by Axel Dont, who brought new momentum to the business. A visionary, he diversified the product range to meet both agricultural and industrial needs, while strengthening the founding values: quality, accessibility, and innovation.

Today, the next generation has taken the lead. His children—Alexandre, Charles, and Laetitia Dont—now jointly run SCREB. Under their leadership, the company continues to grow, integrating today’s key challenges: durability, efficiency, and innovative production.

A complete and modular product range
For more than three decades, SCREB has designed and manufactured a wide range of kit buildings that meet the varied needs of agricultural and industrial operators.
Every project is carefully studied according to geographical location, climate, and usage conditions to ensure an economical and long-lasting solution.

Flexible and scalable structures

Whether single-slope or doubleslope models, clad or unclad, SCREB buildings are designed to evolve over time. Their architecture makes it easy to add lean-tos, canopies, or additional bays without major modifications to
the original structure.
Thanks to standardised engineering and pre-drilled components, extensions can be added months or even years after the initial assembly—flexibility highly appreciated by many operators.

100% French manufacturing
Based in Buzancy, at the heart of the French Ardennes, SCREB proudly maintains fully French production.

Each building is designed to be easy to assemble while offering reliability, simplicity, and strength. This commitment to quality, combined with controlled local manufacturing, allows SCREB to offer exceptional value for money—recognised far beyond France’s borders.

A modernised production system for optimal performance
With 14,000 m² of structures produced every week, SCREB remains the French leader in metal kit barns.
True to its innovative spirit, the company continually invests in its production tools to enhance quality, speed, and precision. Recently, the company reached a new milestone with the acquisition of a state-of-the-art welding robot, symbolising its commitment to Industry 4.0.
This ultramodern equipment enables faster production with flawless assembly quality while optimising costs and improving operator safety.
Thanks to this modernisation, SCREB now ranks among the most efficient companies in Europe in its sector, capable of delivering strong,
economical buildings within record lead times.

A rural benchmark looking toward the future

Rooted in its territory, strong in its industrial expertise, and guided by its family spirit, SCREB continues to embody French success in the rural world.
Balancing technological innovation with respect for agricultural values, the company moves forward with an unchanged conviction: making construction accessible to all those who build the land.
