Growing livelihoods, food security and climate resilience amongst Kenya’s coastal communities

Here’s how the Empowering Farmers Foundation is empowering smallholder farmers along Kenya’s coast! Through the planting of over one million cashew and moringa seedlings between 2022-2024, EFF is revitalizing the cashew sector, increasing income, and improving the climate resilience of over 16,000 households to date. Additionally, EFF is promoting the cultivation and consumption of finger millet, an indigenous and drought resistant crop, to tackle widespread malnutrition amongst children and young women. Hear directly from farmers as they share their experiences and the positive impact EFF’s initiatives have had on their communities.
